Who I am
Smart Food Media is a trading name of Andras Dietrich, a sole trader based in Brentford, London. I am the data controller for any personal information you give me through this site. You can reach me at andras@smartfoodmedia.com or +44 7453 876227, and the correspondence address is at the bottom of this page.
What I collect, and why
If you contact me by email, phone or the enquiry form, I hold your name, your contact details and whatever you tell me about your project, so that I can reply and quote for the work. If we work together I keep the records I need to run the job and to meet HMRC’s requirements.
If you have consented to analytics, I collect anonymous information about how the site is used, so I can see which pages are useful. You can decline this and the site still works.
What I do not do
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with anyone except the suppliers I need to run the business, such as email and accounting providers, and only what they need.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become work: two years. Client records: as long as HMRC requires, currently six years after the end of the tax year.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will action it within thirty days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Images and your project
Where I photograph a client’s product, premises or staff, I agree the use with the client. If you appear in an image and would rather not, tell me and I will remove it.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. No analytics cookie is set until you accept: a banner asks first, and declining leaves the site working exactly as it does now. If you accept, Google receives that usage data as a processor on my behalf. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link at the bottom of any page. No advertising cookies are set at all.
